Job Summary : Directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients, reporting to the Director and management team for Respiratory Care.
In collaboration with the RN, provides direct care as dictated by patients' needs
Minimum Requirements : Graduate from a School of Respiratory Therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) required.
One year of appropriate respiratory care experience in an acute care facility within the past two years. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care required.
NEW GRADUATES may apply if taking the RRT National Boards within the next 2 months. RRT required before start date.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications : One year recent respiratory care experience in acute care setting.
NPS certification for all pediatric / neonatal practitioners within 9 months of employment.
Licensure and Certifications : Current Pennsylvania Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Current BLS Health Care Provider within 1 month of employment. ACLS / PALS within 9 months of employment. All pediatric / neonatal practitioners need to obtain their STABLE and NRP within 9 months of employment.
