What's The Role?

Logistics Manager would be a key part of the Supply Chain team. Responsible to oversee a corporate logistics team that is responsible for the relationship management of our strategic global partners across all modes of transportation supporting the company’s growth plans and objectives.

Key responsibilities would include guiding and growing the global logistics organization in all regions, as well as building and overseeing strong relationships with logistics providers, customs brokers, and carriers.

Within the Liberty Latin America global operations, you will develop procedures to monitor and maximize the company’s transportation network, aligning with our internal Trade Compliance group to ensure and maintain the highest levels of effective customs compliance, control costs, and focus on excellent service to key internal stakeholders.

What You ll Do

Define Transport strategy and successful implement in all Liberty Latin America markets

Responsible for successfully running logistics operation in scope within LLA region

Maintain quality throughout the logistics processes

Work collaboratively with partners in supply chain to have an efficient and successful logistics operation in all LLA markets

Work in close collaboration with global trade compliance

Responsible to build and manage relationship with external partners and suppliers

QBR with key Logistics Partners

Responsible for the timely reporting of an emergency or emerging transport concern to management

Act as point of escalation for Local Senior Management on Logistics matters

Responsible to budget and report on logistics operation

Manage the process Import and Export, validation, and approval of shipment docs.

Report on KPI within the Logistics function

Preferred education / qualifications :

Bachelor level degree in Logistics, business management or its equivalent

Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

Knowledge & Experience :

Requires solid proven experience (5+ years) of performing a management function in Supply Chain Logistics Operation

Extensive proven experience of logistics management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization, and escalation within an international telecom environment.

Proven experience engaging effectively with executive and senior level management.

Demonstrate strong commutation and reporting skills in a multi-country / multi-cultural environment

Control & manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

Experience building and managing relationships with external partners or supplier.

Skills & Abilities :

Extensive proven track record showing the ability to successfully manage Logistics activities in multi-country / multi-cultural environment

Manage internal Stakeholders relationships to control cost / budget, improve service and support strategic goals

Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry

Ability to form strong business relationships across all functions

Ability to work in fast and efficient way with minimum supervision

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
