The role of Supply Planning is to calculate an optimal production plan for inhouse / outsourced manufacturing, taking into account throughput times and logistic parameters, balancing supply and demand of the markets to ensure that finished products are available in DC / RDC w / h at the time of customer orders and that integral inventory levels are in line with business objectives.
You are responsible for
Act in the capacity of Primus Inter Paris (PIP) or
Manager of the Supply Planning team, guiding and supporting the Market Demand Planning team
Identify areas of improvement in the Supply Planning process and develop and implement new ways of working
Key contact for BG, SVAL & Markets on overall supply plan
Key contact for BPE / BPO in relation to improvements on processand functionality
Manage the Supply Planning process for big and complex business scope with high exposure
Maintain the Supply Plan for high & complex business scope with high exposure, ensure timely updates for meetings and business planning snapshots
Collaborate with manufacturing site / OEMS suppliers to achieve the medium & long term planning inputs for S&OP review
Receive and schedule requirements from GDP (Global Demand Planning)
Set short-term priorities in close communication with GDP
Analyze long-term requirements for global finished goods plan and make commitments based on capacity
Issue and control weekly production schedule based on : short-term priorities (GDP purchase orders, R&D component need) and available production capacity
Control inter-facility demand
Function as key communicator between all parties involved in global demand planning.
As necessary, performs other duties as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor degree or higher in related field.
Advanced english level.
APICS CPIM certification is a pre-requisite.
Familiar with ERP and advanced planning tools, preferable SAP and JDA or a combination of equivalent job experience in related fields.
3-5 years’ work experience in Business Administration or Supply Chain environment.
Experience in Supply Chain Management or in a planning role either further upstream (factories) or downstream (markets).
Experience in working in an x-function organization.
