Position Summary

We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Sustainable Sourcing Leader, responsible for leading the Nestle Group activities on Responsible Sourcing of Dairy, Meat, Poultry and Eggs.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Responsible Sourcing, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the sustainable sourcing program for the defined categories on a global level.

Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services.

A day in the life of a Global Sustainable Sourcing Leader

  • Lead internal stakeholders in the creation and operationalization of the sustainable sourcing.
  • Deploy Nestle group wide operational capabilities to deliver on strategy and Nestle corporate commitments.
  • Pilot the responsible sourcing operations in countries of origin and measure the progress towards long term goals.
  • Manage and coach virtual taskforce team members for smooth execution of operations in country of origins.
  • Lead on the ground projects and collaboration with NGOs to implement sustainable sourcing objectives.
  • Liaise with NGO partners and direct suppliers to address key environmental and social challenges.
  • Advise Businesses in external communication to consumers, customers, media and NGOs.
  • Develop regional organizational capabilities and shadow operations (internal / external) on the ground.
  • Lead escalation and issue management in the region together with allocated resources.
  • What will make you successful

  • Master degree in Supply Chain Agriculture or Sustainability.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate in dynamic and uncertain environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
  • Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
