General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)
Reporting to the Contractors Coordinator, Analyst, Contractors Compliance is responsible to ensure the processes for on boarding of Local and Expatriate Contractor / s employees are done in time and approved by all relevant departments.
Ensuring that all Contractors comply to Site Rules and regulations in accordance with FQM group policies and guidelines.
The role has a key focus on updating and maintaining Contractors Information and ensuring good relationships between both parties.
Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor degree in business or related field.
8 years related experience
Experience with ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards would be beneficial
Good computer skills in MS Office.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work in a "team" environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to undertake the manual duties of the role.
Ability to maintain self-discipline within a stressful environment.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables
Carry out the duties as outlined in the Contractor Management Framework.
Ensure compliance of all Contract pre-commencements activities before contractors arrive onsite.
Provide advice and guidance to the Contractors regarding Company’s Site Rules and internal Policies.
Support site access, travel and accommodations arrangements.
Ensure Compliance medical, safety, security, camps and HR requirements prior to contractor on boarding.
Updates and enters data in different systems as required ( Avetta, Workday & JDE)
Develop and maintain compliance KPI’s
Enforce Contractors & Contractor Employee’s on all Training that needs to be completed prior to entering Site (12 TFD & Safety Passport)
Tracking and updating Service orders & Contracts to ensure that all Contractors on Site have valid orders or Contracts
Propose new strategies for monitoring and controlling contractor’s services, ensuring cost effectiveness.
Perform audits for contractor’s compliance as / when required
Report non-compliance to the related stakeholders.
Service as point of contact for contractor issues relating to site services.
Provide general support to contractors onsite and escalating or directing them to appropriate area as required.
Maintain database and report on contractors onsite as well as scheduled arrivals.
Perform other related duties as required.

Cobre Panama is a remote site. This exciting position is based on-site and will be focusing on driving and delivering operational accountability and ownership across various units at Cobre Panama site.
Rosters and working hours may vary depending on business requirements.
