Job Description

Regional Head of Talent Intelligence :

We are looking for a Regional Talent Intelligence Leader (TI) who will lead a team of Regional Talent Intelligence analysts and researchers.

The TI department will collect and analyze market data the regional labor markets, our competitors, business practices, etc, and use this information to give Kimberly Clark a competitive edge in securing the top talent in the marketplace.

This information will influence business decisions and strategy as well as steering, regional and local Talent Acquisition attraction strategies.

In this highly visible role you will partner directly with HR and Business leadership across the organization to inform and educate them on talent trends and market data that will positively influence business decisions.

You will also strongly influence talent strategies to generate top talent globally.

In the coming year, you will have the opportunity to build our in-house capability which will include leading a Regional Talent Intelligence team who will run regional market and talent insight programs, supporting our various partners.

The role will support multiple business lines / functional areas, and provide strategic consultation on market research, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping efforts.

The Leader will also directly support projects and organizational change efforts as workforce optimization.

The role is part of the Global Talent Intelligence Leadership Team playing a meaningful role in crafting and driving the strategy, annual business planning, and help set the direction.

This person will own the regional strategy around how Talent Acquisition uses research and market insights to drive talent attraction strategies, including location strategy, candidate search strategy, and scale for the global footprint.

They will partner with Talent Attraction, Inclusion & Diversity, and other HR Teams to influence Kimberly Clark’s location strategy, diversity talent acquisition strategy.

This person will utilize both internal and external economic data to build their insights and recommendation and will need to do so at the right value to Kimberly Clark.

Examples of TI activities and responsibilities :

Strategic Support : TI Management Team

Support for location strategy; labor market, pay scale, quality of installed talent, volatility, etc.

Recommend priority high value target companies through market research; Gap analysis to understand how K-C fares against competitors; recommending change

Act as an ecosystem expert in the markets / functions in which we operate.

Monitor, track and record communicate key market developments in our markets / businesses / functions ie : key people moves and company updates

Report on labor market trends, hiring scarcity, talent flows, and mergers / re-orgs

Support buy strategies for critical roles by building in house expertise.

Partner with local TA leaders to share all relevant information with HRBP’s, Talent Management, Hiring Managers and Executives

Work with HR Analytics to build holistic data stories in support of HR work. (HR analytics-internal data, TI-external data)

Translate data into actionable insights and provide information from multiple sources into concise, understandable material to impact candidate sourcing and candidate acceptance.

Research Support : Greater TI Team

In addition to supporting the above work, The TI team will be responsible for proactive talent identification for Executive pipelining and other critical roles, ie : market mapping.

Conduct talent intelligence and market research and analysis for various roles, sectors and regions.

Understand and report on talent supply and demand, compensation trends and the competitive talent landscape in general.

Identify prospective candidates to introduce to leadership based on research

Name generation for critical roles in support of recruitment

What We Look For In You

  • 5+ years using hard data and metric to influence business decisions and drive favorable outcomes. Because TI is relatively new, we will consider candidates with an analytical and strategic mindset from areas such as strategy, transformation, corporate research, intelligence, talent analytics, consulting, etc
  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills are critical. Also important is attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
