Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :

Develop a consistent pricing framework for the region, e.g. price point architecture, price bands, key price points, as well as the creation of the future pricing process.

Work closely with local organizations and BU ranging teams to define and apply value drive pricing within it.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with LAM BUs, LAM Finance and Local CTC Teams to define the optimal LAM range in terms of margin drivers
  • Develop tools with price point differentials to be adapted at local level to help define local prices according to value drive pricing methodology
  • Conduct competitive value driver analysis (competitor ranges and pricing strategies) to optimize price architecture at local level and maximize both competitive pricing and margin gains
  • Define minimum margin threshold at category and channel level.
  • Conduct regular RRP and margin checks during the GTM season to ensure an optimal price architecture and the achievement of the profitability targets for the season
  • Extend value drive pricing methodology to all categories. Monitor value drive pricing execution at local level, review pricing strategies and optimize margin gains at art level
  • Define and lead consumer research to define value from a consumer point of view across all LAM countries
  • Work closely with CTC Range Architecture to define optimal number of articles per price brackets to help optimize RA
  • Closely co-operate with Global and Regional Pricing Teams to secure best practice level of implementation of Pricing Architecture.
  • Provide price architecture inputs into Global Pricing CTC

  • Global Merchandising : CTC Price Management, CTC Category Teams.
  • LAM Market and Local Functions : Finance, Business Development, Retail, Wholesale and eCommerce

  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

  • 8 years experience
