The Contracts Administrator will deliver high quality support to the business in collaboration with the ELC Legal team in New York and Panama, and plays an integral role in The Estee Lauder Companies commitment to supplier risk mitigation and contract compliance.
This role facilitates interactions amongst Procurement, Legal, internal business clients and external service providers and requires a strong understanding of procurement contracts, and is responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or professional services.
Successful candidates possess a thorough level of knowledge of legal language, contract documents supplier risk mitigation strategies as well as a critical attention to detail.
All candidates must be highly proficient in the English language.

Roles and Responsibilities
Position based in Costa del Este, Panamá.
Respond to inquiries from Procurement, Legal, and internal business clients related to contracts.
Assist with reporting in relevant contract management system.
Collaborate with Procurement, legal and internal business clients to prepare, analyze, negotiate, and revise various types of contracts (such as master agreements, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, and statements of work).
Create and revise contract workspaces / profiles for various types of contracts in relevant contract management systems.
Assist with streamlining the contracting process.
Regularly review, update, and enforce applicable corporate contract polices and supplier risk management procedures.
Interpret contractual language, identify risk, and discuss possible impacts with Procurement, Legal and internal clients.
Assist in tracking contract compliance and attainment by contributing to reports and metric status updates (i.e., Master Purchase Agreement attainment, Code of Conduct compliance, etc.).
Achieve all results with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
Experience with contract administration.
3+ years of work experience in contracts, legal or other relevant experience.
Legal, business process and problem solving capabilities.
Excellent writing skills with attention to written detail.
Expert proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish is required. Portuguese and / or Mandarin is a plus.
Experience working in reputable law firms, multinationals, shared services, and / or with international clients.
Keen analytical skills to successfully troubleshoot and resolve issues
Ability to develop positive working relationships with peer departments.
Experience working remotely in a multicultural environment with a diverse workforce.
Cosmetic or consumer goods industry experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail is required, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations effectively to complete multiple tasks / projects quickly, efficiently and on time.

Strong technical skills with experience in Microsoft Office 365 and workflow management systems.
