In order to implement and drive the success of our new procurement model, we are looking for a highly competent Commodities Middle Office Analyst to control the execution of hedges in full compliance with Nestle Accounting Standards and within the limits defined for the group.
You will contribute to the provision of accurate and relevant reporting and analyses of the hedges to the Middle Office Manager & Nestrade CFO.
You will also be involved in tracking hedging performance and facilitating the execution of the hedging strategy defined for Commodities.

Who are we?
Perform daily reconciliation of Commodity Derivatives.
Review new positions against authorised trading limits and approved policy. Highlight any deviations to Management. Ensure clear documentation retained for audit.
Prepare Position Reports to show the status of length and price of cover held. Review changes and explain reasons for difference.
Monitor Daily Margin Requirements. Resolve any discrepancies over commissions. Raise instruction to Treasury to arrange payments and collections.
Perform reconciliation of Cash Position with Broker and General Ledger.
Extract daily trades from system for regulatory reporting (e.g. EMIR, Dodd Frank, FMIA Swiss) onto the global trade repository.
Perform control of delegated external trades are reported accurately and timely manner.
Perform P&L & Mark to Market reporting, review Hedge Effectiveness calculation and postings. Co-ordinate within Nestrade Finance to ensure impact is understood by business.
Perform other Middle Office activities as required (Analysis of PRM strategies including options & OTCs for presentation at Commodities Financial Risk Committee, ad-
hoc Invoicing and Reconciliation, implementation of additional controls, etc).
Maintain documentation for derivatives : ETD, give up agreements, ISDAs, hedge documentation, correlation under accounting standards.
Provide Super user support in areas of Nestle systems related to derivatives. Maintain master data (Commission Rates, Price Cover, Broker etc).
Contribute to systems development.
Drive for continuous improvement, focusing on simplification, standardisation and automation. Ensure best practices are shared.
Keep standard operating procedures up to date.
University degree / Masters in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
Accounting Certification would be an asset
2-4 years of relevant experience in Finance and Control
Experience working in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry
Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications- in particular Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge of SAP (in particular the FI and CO modules)
Proficiency in English (other languages are a plus)
