1. Supply strategy
It implements effective sourcing strategies in accordance with the commercial strategy and the regional / global Continuous Improvement Process Improvement (CIPS) strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capacity and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
Ensures alignment between local SCM activities and SCM centers.
It ensures the full use of Pro-Supply's global supplier relationship management platform in accordance with the relevant procedure, both related to the exchange of supplier information, the search for existing high-
performance suppliers for ABB.
Manages the planning and monitoring of procurement activities, cost budgets, spending of emerging countries and savings forecasts.
It ensures that buyers minimize the risk with respect to quality and financial exposure by buying according to commercial procedures and quality, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Company.
It monitors the processes and activities of supply chain management. Pro-actively works to solve problems related to acquisition, quality and delivery costs.
Supervise and report internal and supplier performance (KPI), quality problems and development actions. Accepts compliance with the ABB Supply Chain Management metrics.
5. Provider agreements
Define and establish local standards agreements with all major local suppliers. It provides and maintains standard terms in the purchase contracts / terms and conditions in accordance with the guidelines and guidelines of the Company.
We are looking for a candidate with Bachelor degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics or SCM.
This position will be based in our office in Panama. It also desirable that you have the following knowledge, skills and experience.
