The Senior SME Digital and ESB Service Introduction is an individual contributor responsible for the functional and technical knowledge transfer, roll out, transitioning and Tier-3 support for all Digital and ESB services released to IT Operations

This position will also partner and develop relationships with contractor teams and within Information Technology (IT Delivery, QA, IT Operations) to aid in the delivery of those solutions supporting Liberty Latin America operations (functional and technical knowledge transfer, Tier-3 support for all Digital and ESB services released to IT Operations)

Bachelor level, Information Technology or Computer Science and / or comparable technical degree

Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience

Experience and appreciation of working in a cross-functional and customer focused environment

Demonstrable experience (5+ years) delivering integration solutions (Mulesoft 4.x, 3.x and Munit, Azure Service Bus, Oracle Service Bus, IBM App Connect, etc.

including but not limited to

  • Docker, ELK, Splunk, Linux
  • Jira Software and workflows configurations
  • Knowledge / Exposure of / to testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, JMeter, Selenium)

    Knowledge / Exposure of / to Agile development

    Proven capability within the specified discipline (DevOps and Service Reliability Engineering) at a strong functional and technical level

    Proven experience of working and engaging in cross-functional teams

    Ability to drive improvement within his / her team

    Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach

    Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice

    Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided

    Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferably in Spanish and English) and ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations

    Individual contributor across the DevOps lifecycle, according to current industry best practices, for the IT component of all ESB and Digital Integration platforms across Liberty Latin America, including but not limited to :

  • Research new techniques, tools, methods, and technologies for integration delivery
  • Support for transitioning applications into production
  • Support functionality validation of applications once implemented
  • Identify and communicate application known errors that will be going into production
  • Have on call responsibilities in rotation with the team, and available for work off-hours and non-working days (if required)
  • Collaborates with internal and contractor teams working on ESB Integration Deliverables as SME for operational procedures and troubleshooting guidelines

    Collaborates with QA on the release of solutions under scope (including, but not limited to, troubleshooting guidelines, knowledge transfer and documentation)

    Collaborates with IT Operations on troubleshooting and resolution of escalated ESB issues (Tier 3)

    Complies with SOX GITC controls pertaining to applications and processes under scope

    Contributes to IT roadmap and architecture definition
