Working as a Project Engineer (Procurement & Logistic), you will be the support person for various engineering projects the Electrification Business in Panama, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

Trade Compliance Officer
Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors and provide support to the commercial area and offers in the attention of project requirements.
Selects supplier bid list based on FCM.
Leads sourcing process (RFQ) preparation till completion of the project closure. Be responsible for the development of existing and register potential suppliers, Manage and lead the RFQ together with suppliers, P&L Specialist and PM.
Manages achievements of all project milestones related to suppliers and follows progress of RFQ stages.
Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Panama.
Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project. Participates to project meeting and activities (project kick-off, sourcing plan, technical steering committee, project management committee).
Track project progress and milestone with suppliers in order to guarantee the KPIs.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related careers.
3 to 5 years of experience working with projects in the Procurement and Logistics area.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including SAP ARIBA.
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
Reading of Bill of quantity or Bill of Material.
Basic knowledge of ABB equipment.
Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC standards.
