Job Summary : Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes.
Minimum Requirements : High School or GED. Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing or Diploma Program.
Nursing experience or nursing coursework. Chemotherapy course within one (1) year for those hired / transferred to department for General Medical / Surgical Nurse assigned to 4B.
Basic computer skills, data entry required.
Preferred Qualifications : Associate Degree Program or Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Experience with administering IV chemotherapy preferred for General Medical / Surgical Nurse assigned to 4B
Licensure and Certifications : Must maintain current CPR certification;Must have current license or temporary practice permit to practice as Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
