Jacobs have partnered up to form a joint venture that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related Programme Management services for a major exhibition.
It will be the first time that such an exhibition will be hosted in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia Region and it is expected to be a significant catalyst for growth for business across wider region.
Working within the Programme Assurance team and reporting to the Programme Health and Safety Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of the Programme’s H&S policy, strategy and deliverables as well as working through its supply chain partners.
You will be managing the development of H&S policies, strategies, programs and standards across the programme’s functions, providing input towards strategic direction whilst ensuring adequate procedures are implemented to evaluate the adequacy of H&S compliance and performance on site.
Communication is an important element to this role, ensuring staff are fully informed of the programme applicable legislative and assurance requirements, as well as coordinating the delivery of programme H&S meetings and workshops.
As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified, preferably in an occupational H&S discipline. Other degree disciplines will be considered, however need to be supported with Health and Safety professional qualifications such as NEBOSH.
You will be coming with at least 5 years of experience and will already be working in a H&S position on site in a multi stakeholder environment on a large construction project / programme. Experience of operating
