Purpose of Role The Decision Support Manager & Innovation reports to the Finance Director, CCA and is the key business partner of the CCA Marketing team.
The effective A&P investment Profile and its implacable execution according to the strategy is one of the key imperatives to achieve our strategy.
This role supports them in making informed decisions through various modelling scenario and provide realistic performance tracking and outlook of the A&P Budget.
Supports and drives strategic development through financial knowledge and innovation, as well is responsible of annual operating plan (AOP), influence and determinate risk and opportunities together with marketing and CP&A teams and track and budget control of A&P investment.
Drives strategic development through financial knowledge and innovative ideas to bring value. Provide support on performing continuous financial analysis, financial modeling and business continuous improvement.
Be a game changer to the wider Finance team and the entire organization. Complexity CCA operates in a changing business environment characterized by changes in legal, fiscal and market conditions.

Business Strategy Development : Understands the overall business environment and be able to develop strategic proposals that contribute to short term and long-term goals by Marketing Teams.
Whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for the business. External Awareness : Understands the market environment and based on this, be able to evaluate strategic alternatives and anticipate predict financial impacts (O&R) Opportunity Creation : Establishing portfolio strategy and align investment decisions to support long term business goals Managing for Value : to Apply analytical tools and techniques across brands, brands initiatives and across the value chain to develop maximizing strategies Business Partner : to use Financial knowledge and understanding of the business to contribute to great forecasting and accuracy of the business with high risk and opportunities management.
Controls & Risk Management Champion the control environment for the business area supported and ensure compliance to policies in everything we do Actively lead the risk environment and identify and take corrective action to remediate issues Business capability Build the financial capability of our business partners Drive the business towards self-serve to liberate time for value creation Educates / challenges business partners on the value of a timely and accurate forecast updated in the relevant system Top Accountabilities Being a holistic finance business partner for CCA Marketing and Innovation Teams as well as LAC innovation Team.
Overall Oversight on brands and categories P&L Develop of Product Profitability Analysis and deliver insights on the A&P related measures A&P Strategic Allocation and Category Pricing Support M&E Support (Focus on A&P) Innovation Financial Oversight Assist the team on preparing and reporting an accurate and robust O&R and tracking A&P process Provide modeling expertise & financial analysis, including brand and categories profitability Profit pool analysis to understand new sources of value and drive decision making for long term strategy Competitive analysis to predict future action and recommends Diageo response.
Understands and drives A&P efficiency by partnering with marketing on the catalyst tool and other tools Build an innovation financial strategy to identify the role of innovation to support business goals New innovation financial analysis - key drivers of risk, benchmarking with previous innovations, scenario analysis Analyze launch KPI progress vs our ambition Drives innovation forecast accuracy via understanding trends across Gate 6 papers.
Set up and lead conversation on sourcing strategies for new innovations. Make recommendations for long term supply chain strategies Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineer or similar.
