What's The Role?

Based out of our Panama City, Panama office, the Sr. International Tax Analyst for Liberty Latin America (LLA) will join the tax team and solely be focused on the rapidly evolving needs of transfer pricing within the LLA global organization.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for preparing the intercompany allocation models for the Transfer Pricing Group, while also assisting with ad hoc requests as it relates to analyzing intercompany transactions.

The Sr. International Tax Analyst will report to the Transfer Pricing Manager and will work closely with other members of the Transfer Pricing team based in Denver, Colorado and Miami, Florida, as well as members of the Finance organization spanning through the US, LATAM and Caribbean region.

What you'll do :

Prepare and analyze complex financial and allocation models to administer the LLA Group transfer pricing policies.

Coordinate with accounting team to prepare intercompany invoices in relation to transfer pricing models for the group.

Assist the transfer pricing team in compiling information necessary for the disclosure of intercompany transactions for transfer pricing studies and / or annual disclosure forms.

Support the transfer pricing team in reviewing the statutory financials of operating entities within LLA to ensure that intercompany transactions are accurately reflected.

Assist the transfer pricing team in relation to the issuance and review of annual cost center surveys for transfer pricing audit defense files.

Support the finance organization in tracking and clearing legacy intercompany balances on an ad-hoc basis.

Support the transfer pricing and finance team in relation to internal / external audit requests.

Support the Transfer Pricing team with regard to the development of new transfer pricing models.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned, such as the analysis of indirect taxes on intercompany transactions.

Knowledge And Experience

Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent 4-year college degree, with an accounting / tax major.

2-4 years of accounting and / or industry experience, specifically in Accounting or Tax.

Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and / or SAP is preferred, but not mandated.

Experience working with LATAM and / or Caribbean countries within a finance setting.
