What's the role :
The HRIS Analyst will apply knowledge of Human Resources (HR) business processes and their experience with HR Applications, to deliver new capabilities, extend existing services and to provide production application support and maintenance for a robust set of HR applications.
What you'll do :
Participate as a core team member on projects and objectives related to supported systems. Create and follow plans to accomplish specific goals given a set amount of resources and time frames.
Define solutions and identify new capabilities that will impact the business utilizing a broad set of HR applications and subsequently assist in the implementation of those solutions with our business partner.
Perform duties including configuration, testing, data mapping, maintaining security, creating reports and queries, training users, etc.
Specifically participating in UAT testing through multiple phases of testing.
Monitor system functionality and performance to ensure standards are met. Document and track product defects and coordinate problem resolution with development and / or product vendors.
Maintain a detailed understanding of the HR business processes, systems, infrastructure, and integration points between HR systems.
Regularly consult with business representatives to understand the root cause of process problems or inefficiencies and to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
Maintain documentation for all assigned cases; ensure documentation is thorough and complete; develop user manuals and training materials to describe system functionality.
Perform routine day-to-day assignments under general supervision. May handle some unusual issues independently, but predominately consults with senior staff on such issues.
Demonstrate analytical skill to research solutions / alternatives and arrive at sound conclusions; uses and expands knowledge of known resources.
Handle several tasks simultaneously; prioritize work independently; use time effectively.
Knowledge and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
3-5 years of HR application experience is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Comprehensive understanding of HR applications and interdependencies.
Experience with Enterprise HRIS systems (SAP Success Factors) as well as niche HR Applications in the ATS (ICIMS), LMS and HR Service Management space preferred.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general workforce.
Must be skilled in use of analytical tools including Excel.
Must be able to handle multiple projects / tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and process documents.
Bilingual proficiency (English / Spanish) with speaking and writing.
