The primary role of this position is to execute territorial action plans, national or international market sales plans and co-op marketing plans and implementation with distribution partners.
The BDM is responsible, for training, supporting distribution partners. The BDM is responsible, for implementing into customers WQP techniques and methods, especially when core business of WQP are not present or are with competitors, helping sales channels in the techniques / methods deployment and continuous review of improvements and techniques / methods grow inside customers.
o 5-7 years sales & management experience in water treatment industry.
o Bachelor's degree in an engineering, Chemical Engineer or similar.
o Experience in building, managing and motivating 3rd parties (agents / distributors / representatives), and managing sales through them.
o Key account management experience.
o Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Sales Force would be a plus
o Value Selling / Solution Selling / Demonstrated presentation skills
o Fluent in Spanish & English
o Reside in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica or Panama
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate well to both the customer, and to all levels of the organization
o 60% travel within the region
