What the role is
The individual who fills the Systems Project Manager position will be part of a dynamic team and make sure all systems, tools and platforms under the purview of the IT department are in line with Selina IT standards and work in other special projects with the team responsible for the IT infrastructure and products used by our locations.
In this position you will coordinate internal and external resources, vendors and liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver great IT products to our guests, visitors, Colivers and Connectors, while ensuring company compliance.
What you will be doing
Maintain and improve systems integrity and compliance.
Assess and review systems and technology tools used at the location or country level to make business recommendations.
Lead tests, pilots and the rollout of new technology tools, systems and platforms in collaboration with Delivery Area Managers.
Administration and support of location level tools and platforms; including but not limited to POS, PMS, e-invoicing systems, media content management, inventory management, etc.
Gather and analyze business requirements, write recommendations and implement solution design.
Manage systems and platforms access, user roles, reports, dashboards, workflows, monthly controls, and internal transfer pricing.
Coordinate strategic IT projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
Create and monitor budgets and schedules for active projects; update and report on the same.
Keep updated systems documentation.
Work through contract negotiations and supplier relationships as required
Spearhead department communications and newsletters to the Company.
Assist with any additional requirements of the IS department.
What you need for the role
Studies in Computer Science,Programming, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Hospitality, Project Management or related fields is preferred.
1 or more years of experience in Project Management or IT;
Experience with POS systems used in Food and Beverage industry is a plus;
Strong understanding of governance, financial controls and validation methods.
Proficient with G-suite, Excel, ticketing system.
Problem-solver mentality and troubleshooting capabilities.
The qualified candidate will have a high level of organization and self-motivation
Ability to work in a team environment for positive outcomes and generating trust.
Capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Curiosity and self-learner spirit
Basic coding abilities and understanding of database management are an asset.
