Evaluate and define the timing, access and development process to ensure the Colina mine can deliver ore as needed to allow a treatment rate of plus 85 Mtpa
Liaise with the mine planning teams in Perth and Panama to develop the schedule, budget and pioneer fleet requirements for development of Colina;
Liaise with First Quantum project teams to establishing the schedule for design, procurement and construction of the Colina overland conveyor and in pit crusher
Supervise the initial mining activities required to clear, develop pioneer access, develop the access corridor and the initial pre-
strip mining and box cut requirements at Colina to meet the development / production schedules.
Establish and maintain the fleet scheduling requirements of the mine to meet the mine plan and budget;
Preparation and input into a range of mine budgets including the annual financial budget
Support to the finance team to maintain mining cost forecasts and recommend cost effectiveness, optimisation and revenue-generating measures
Mine Engineer Degree (or equivalent)
5+ years in similar role
Experience in : design, construction and procurement
Surpac, JDE experience and MS Office
Mining contracting cost background would be ideal
Spanish will be advantageous
