We are actually searching for Reliability Engineers.
Key Accountabilities and Challenges
Implement FQM Way culture in the work team - "Bolder, Smarter, Driven, Together."
Help creating positive can do culture for the whole engineering team
Develop standard safe working procedures and actively participate in HSE initiatives
Carry out formal workplace inspections on a routine basis
Ensure employees work in compliance with H&S (e.g. isolation, lock out and tag out), quality and environmental standards and procedures
Enforce housekeeping standards in all designated work areas.
Condition Monitoring :
Implement and commission fixed and portable condition monitoring systems including but not limited to vibration measures and thermal imaging
Create condition monitoring strategy at metallurgical process plant
Set up condition monitoring standards for metallurgical process plant
Coach and train the condition monitoring inspectors.
Report condition monitoring results and recommend corrective actions.
Implement and commission automatic and manual lubrication systems.
Implement lubrication strategies and standards.
Coach and train the lubrication technicians.
Follow up and report on lubrication plans and activities.
Continuos Improvement :
Create and drive continues improvement process with relevant stakeholders.
Lead continues improvement process and ensure relevant actions are completed.
Report results on monthly bases.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Mechanical Engineer Degree Or related Trade Certificate to Heavy Fixed Plant Equipment
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Team player and results orientated
Highly motivated & driven
Methodological and organized
Relate and communicate to people on all levels
Good Problem Solving ability & Patient attitude
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a mining plant maintenance role; 2 years of which should be in leading condition monitoring, lubrication or continuous improvement teams.
Knowledge of JDEdwards or other enterprise systems
Sound analytical, and problem solving skills.
Knowledge and understanding of diverse third world cultures and customs an advantage.
MS Office and Project
Fluency in Spanish and English highly regarded.
