quality operations and development projects in eight countries across five continents.

With a strategic plan to produce more than 1 million tonnes per annum of copper within five years, the Company is poised to become the largest, widely-

held pure-play copper producer and one of the top five copper producers in the world.

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced HR Advisor to joined our Human Resources Team. Key Accountabilities and Challenges

  • Operate within and observe all relevant and applicable laws of Panama.
  • Maintain HSE standards and ensure strict compliance within the process plant control room.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of manpower plans and manpower control throughout the organization.
  • Analyses manpower information to produce reports and recommendations for managerial decision making. Carry out studies to diagnose and recommend the necessary courses of action to remedy any.
  • Responsible for maintaining HR content on the HR SharePoint page.
  • Works closely with the Employee relations teams to deliver all Project implementation activity.
  • Responsible for the resource tracker for the project team. Escalates any issues or risks for resolution.
  • Supports the facilitation and the implementation of local and global HR processes and being involved in ad hoc HR
  • related (improvement / change) projects.

  • Control, report and reduce operational costs, and ensure cost consideration taken with all decisions.
  • Embrace FQM Way culture and challenge convention - "Bolder, Smarter, Driven, and Together."
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by HR Superintendent, HR Support.
  • Knowledge and Experience :


  • HR Degreee would be Ideal.
  • Experience :

  • Ideally, experience of working as an HR Administrator or in a Project Coordinator role.
  • Experience in the Mining Industry is useful, but not essential.
  • HR and / or Project management knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of SharePoint, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong eye for detail and with a thorough approach to ensure high quality delivery focused on the (internal) customer.
  • Proactive in managing and escalating day to day issues that may arise.
  • Comfortable with change and working in a fast-paced environment with confidential information.
  • Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work in a "team" environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain self-discipline within a stressful environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Language
  • Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Spanish highly regarded. A willingness to undertake language training desirable.
