  • Coordinate daily activities with direct supervision
  • Carry out lockout, isolation and tagout activities according to the LOTO procedure approved by the project.
  • Ensure that the other entities of the project respect and comply with the LOTO procedure approved by the project.
  • Carry out lockout, isolation and tagout activities according to the planning.
  • Keep the work permit and lock records updated
  • Ensure zero energy check
  • Carry out lockout, isolation and tagout of equipment according to the requested, plans and associated technical information.
  • Coordinate lockout, isolation and tagout activities with discipline leaders and area leaders.
  • Ensure the use of lock and insulation elements suitable for the type of equipment and energy to be controlled.
  • Control of stock of equipment and devices for locking and isolation.
  • Comply with all corporate policies and procedures through the adoption of policies, procedures and requirements for Quality Assurance and Health, Safety, Welfare and Environment.

  • A tertiary education of 2 or 3 years qualified as superior electrical technician, mechanic or instrumentation.
  • More than 3 years of experience in activities related to commissioning, maintenance or operation of industrial projects.
  • Good communication skills
  • Determination, decision making and teamwork.
  • Having some experience in blocking and isolation processes will be an advantage to consider.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
  • Languages : Spanish is required; English is desirable.
