Job Description :
3M is currently looking or a Logistics Supervisor for our Panama Pacifico operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Overview, design and optimize all logistic processes, including the implementation of solutions for more cost-efficient and leaner processes, with a customer-
first approach to the decision-making process.
Implement new logistics processes to further drive the regional model for 3M’s Panama Pacifico Center of Excellence (COE).
Provide guidance and efficient solutions for logistical challenges within the logistics department as well as across multi-functional areas.
Free Trade Agreement Analyst, Country of Origin Coordinator, Harmonized Tariff Coordinator and Regulatory Coordinator for all Panama and USA operations related to the COE.
Work with other 3M subsidiaries in the region, by acting as advisor on trade compliance and logistic related inquiries as well as developing new processes that will help protect the corporation.
Manage and overview freight settlement process, as well as act as point of contact for all financial related inquiries.
Including but not limited to : new projects, change of SOS impact, landed cost review, accrual process, account balancing, freight payments and freight expense metrics.
Supervise and guide a diverse team and look for constant opportunities to support / optimize their processes, as well as provide coaching or advise regularly
A Bachelor's degree level of education or equivalent experience through training is normally required to apply knowledge of professional fields such as Logistics, business administration, or industrial engineering.
In addition, between 5 and 8 years of related job experience are generally required.
As a seasoned professional, the employee provides leadership to others as a supervisor.
