As support for the Northeastern Region of the US, this position includes heavy travel and is flexible on the state where the person resides.
Overall responsibility for developing and expanding the global growth strategy for the Forum - Subsea line of capital products and services outside of our traditional oil and gas markets.
Those capital products include Subsea Vehicles, Launch and Recovery Systems, Syntactic Foam, Integrated Control Systems, and Custom Engineered Solutions.
Global travel may be required to gather market intelligence, building a network of customer contacts and direct sales activities.
The key focus will be expansion of those products into the defense, cable, and renewable industries, through analysis of new market sectors in either geography or technology, acquisition targets and industry trends.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
Master’s Degree in Business Administration Preferred
2 to 5+ years of experience in business development and business representation
2 to 5+ years of industry experience
Experience in business development working with desired groups for expansion preferred
Proven ability to build relationships in new sectors
